Responsibilities

  • Grows key accounts by building long-term strategic partnerships with clients
  • Actively identifies and cultivates new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Develops strategic account plans and ensures periodic account targets are being met
  • Acts as a consultant to pharmaceutical clients to help them find strong, effective, and innovative Medical Communications solutions
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of proposals and business opportunities in our CRM
  • Serves as the client representative within a dedicated cross functional account team ensuring strategic prioritization and execution of projects
  • Represents Medicalwriters.com at industry conferences
  • Proactively stays abreast of the newest developments in the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Affairs and Medical Communications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in medical communications, life sciences, or marketing environments
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in the life sciences
  • Excellent understanding of medical communications deliverables and experience in managing meetings (educational events, satellite symposia, advisory board meetings, etc.)
  • Accurate and detail-oriented working style with a high degree of integrity, tact and confidentiality
  • Willing to travel to client meetings and medical congresses
  • Proficiency with Apple Devices and G-Suite Office Tools, preferred
